Mar. 02 Catcher in leather shorts: At the end of the week of the folk costumes clubs in Garmin-Partenkirchen there was a great prize - rangelin'. Rangeln is a popular sport in the upper-Bavarian mountains and is similar to catch as-catch-can, but not quite so rough. The boys from Miesbach were the favorites in this wrestling. No wonder - as there is every week the trainer of the Munich catchers with them showing them the tricks. The great Garmisch catching-as-catch-can in leather trousers finds its end in a meeting of the groups in their costumes. And then there is much drinking and eating
