May 05, 1960 - The New Guard In East-Berlin Changed In to a Monument: The communist authorities of East-Berlin have changed the New Guard an early work by Karl Frederich Schinkel (Karl Frederich Schinkel), into a monument for the victims of fascism and militarism.
