Mar. 31 Fasching in Nurnberg The Senator of Hamburg and vicarious SPD-President Helmut Schmidt reacted with self-possession, when he tried to come on the carnival-list in Nurnberg. There was great fun on the Hauptmark, when Prince Herbertia of Narrenburg introduced the well-known politician to the carnival. The funnel, which belongs to this ceremony, was this year awarded Fritz Erler. But as this prominent SPD politician became ill, Helmut Schmidt too over this humouristic recongnition from the Faschingsnarren in Nurnberg
