Jul. 07, 1960 - American Minister of the Army in Bonn: on July 15th, the American Minister of the Army, Brucker (Brucker) was received in Bonn by the Federal Minister of Defence, Dr. Franz-Josef Strauss (Strauss). Brucker's visit to Germany became rather important through his declaration that the United States would agree if the Federal Republic of Germany would be equipped - within the NATO - with offensive arms like the Polaris rocket.
