Oct. 10, 1960 - International Caoutchouc Congress in Berlin: About 1000 visitors of 25 countries have come to Berlin to take part in the International Caoutchouc Congress which is held from Oct. 5th till 8th. Discussed are the latest developments of synthetic caoutchoue and the use of chemical fibre in the manufacturing of caoutchoue. Experts from 13 countries will speak in 63 lectures about the latest results of their research. Photo shows director Hans - Joachim Schlange-Schoningen (Hans - Joachim Schlange-Schoningen ) of the Vereinigte Glazstoff-Fabriken AG in Wuppertal (he is a son of the former Federal Minister of food and first German Ambassador after the war in London) during his lecture about the importance of chemical fibre in the caoutchouc industry. On right director Dr. Alfred Ebert (Albert Ebert) also of the Vereinigte Glanzstoff (United Shining-Material Works)
