Jul. 07, 1960 - High decoration for Sea Devil Count Felix von Luckner: For the first time since 700 years the German Sea-Devil Count Felix von Luckner (FELIX VON LUCKNER), a fighter for friendship among all peoples, was granted the Ordo Militae Crucis Templi'. Von Luckner is great-master of the Sovereign Temple-Lords Order'. None less than Emperor Karl V. was his predecessor in this high decoration. The nearly 80-year old captain still holds speeches to the youth to build bridges for understanding'. In his home in Hamburg Count von Luckner showed us the precious chain of the decoration which is made by hand in gold and carries topazes and diamonds
