1962 - Hans-Rudolf Rosing.. Flotilla-admiral and successor of rear-admiral Bernard Rogge (B.Rogge)of the Federal Defence Detachment in Kiel, was since 1957 commander of the Naval North Sea Command and coast commanding officer. He was born in September 29th, 1905 as son of a viceadmiral inilhelshavon. After finishing school he entered theReichsdienst and the career of an officer candidate. From 1935 to 1939 was Rosting U-Boat commander and flottilla-chief during the war commander in the North-Sea and liaison officer to the Italian U-boats in the Atlantic, from 1945 until the end of the War, he leaded the U-boats West and was charged with the whole U-boat conduct. After the was Rosing started as interpreter and reviser for political and economical questions at the american general consulate in Bremen. Since 1952 he works on the re-establishment of teh German Navy. Privately Rosing is an excellent dee-sea yachtsman likes to travel and speaks five languages, Photo shows Hamburg 2.4.62
