Jan. 07, 1962 - Pictured here is a cutaway model of an air-cooled Deutzdiesel motor. It was shown at the German pavilion at the Montreal Expo 67, along with the ancestor of all combustion engines, a Deutz-Has motor built by Nikolaus August Otto in the year 1876. The two models showed the development of the combustion engine from the beginning to that point in time. Otto had actually won the gold medal at the exhibition in 1876 in Paris.
