Jun. 06, 1962 - Federal President Lubke visits the Kieler Woche on board the yacht Ashanti, the Federal President drove past all German and foreign warships the sailors of which had drawn up in their blue-white parade uniform. Passing the Tirpitzmole the warships fired a 42 shots salute. Photo shows the yacht Ashanti of the Bremen shipowner Burmester (Burmester) which is hoisted the president standard, in honour of the high guest. in ther background the sailing-ship Gorch Fock of the Federal Navy
