Aug. 08, 1962 - RUSSIAN BUS KEPT 11 HOURS IN BRITISH SECTOR: A Russian bus which brought new Soviet guards from East Berlin to the Russia war memorial in the British sector near Brandenburg Gate, had to stay 11 hours in West Berlin before it could return through Checkpoint Charlie this morning at 5.20. The vehicle could not return earlier because all streets around the Checkpoint were blocked with yelling demonstrators and hundreds of hoot-er-blowing motorists.
