Feb. 02, 1963 - Russian - bus has to return on check-point-Charly.: American military - police stopped four Soviet military- buses on Saturday -noon (23.@.) on check - point- Charly, when they wants to drive to West Berlin, to the Soviet memorial in the British sector. The busses could not pass and returned after a wait-time from 45 minutes in the East sector. The US military police stoped the cars on request of the British military - authority, after that the Soviet announced the British, that they take the Shortest way, this is about check-point- Sandrugbrucke in the British sector. Six other Soviet busses where passing check - point- Sandkrugbruck without obstacle. Photo shows after a 45 minutes stop on check point Charly, the Soviet busses returns to East Berlin
