Germany - Lithuania - Poland
Apr. 26, 1962 - There is a great request for newspapers in Germany and the want for informations (and other sorts of paper) still seems to increase. A house of paper could be made from the yearly paper supply of a 4 person family of today's Germany. At the exhibition Druck and Papier (Printing and Paper) held from May 5th till 18th, 1962 in Dusseldorf, all the things of paper and cardboard used by such a family are displayed. Several thousand sorts of paper are on the German market where paper towels for children are just as useful as maps for the car driver. If the average usage of paper of a family would be made into a 40cm brought roll, this roll would be 15km long
