Feb. 02, 1964 - Old Age Pensioners Go Through The Opened Wall.. Many harrowing scenes took place today in West Berlin as the first old age pensioners from East Berlin crossed to the West under Operation Oldster'. The operation allows men over the age of 65 and women over 60 to obtain yearly four weeks permits to visit relatives in the West.
