Sep. 09, 1962 - In Berlin: Doctor-Taxi-Service: The Berlin doctors are working together with the taxi drivers. Since a short time in the districts Kreuzberg. (Kreuzberg) and Wedding (Wedding) people can call the doctor in urgent cases over the taxi wireless service. The taxi drivers have a list of all doctors on duty and if the patient wants it they fetch the doctor by car and drive him to the caller. Up to now doctors have been called 40 times a day over the Doctor-Taxi-Service'. Photo shows a doctor being called and driven to the patient
