But Paul Schmidt's big hobby are clocks - and nobody is surprised if one knows that his profession is watchmaker. Over thousands numbers belong to his collection and his shop in Berlin is nearly a small museum. The oldest model is from the beginning of the 17 century and the best one is an old Spindle-watch which is said to have belonged once to the French Kardinal Richelieul.
