Nov. 11, 1964 - Tears and impressive scenes: On October 31st the East Germany's Community rulers opened the Wall to allow the West Berliners to see their relatives in the eastern sector for the second time since 3 1/2 years. On November 2nd the first trains with East German pensioners arrived West German stations and the first old people crossed the wall from east to west.
