Dec. 21, 1965 - During the previous weekend heavy rain poured night and day and it has resulted in a dangerous flooding situation. Several villages were cut off from the outside world and aid organizations have been at the ready preparing for the worst. Some of the cities affected include low lying areas like Frankenberg, Hannoversch-Muenden, and Kassel. Pictured is the Edertalsperre(Edertal Dam) in Nordhessen
