Mar. 10, 1966 - After 20 years in captivity in Russia: and forced labour in Siberian deportation areas the 41 years old Peter Ziegler has returned to Germany. This week he came to Kaufbeuren/Allgau where a worker has placed a three rooms flat to his disposal, all free. The war prisoner married a deported woman from East Prussian in Siberia. The inspector of taxes Bernd Fischer fro mKaufbeuren, who was together with Ziegler in Siberia for man years, has asked ministers, parliament, presidents for help to get the family Ziegler back. They came over Canada, Bremerhaven and Friedland to Aligau. They will have their new home here.
