1966 - McCloy meets German Chancellor Erhard and Minister of Foreign Affairs Schroder: One day before the visit of French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Couve de Murville, Chancellor Erhard received Mr. McCloy sent out from US - Department of Foreign Affairs in order to discuss NATO-problems on April 17th in Bonn. On Friday afternoon (15.4.66) McCloy met German Minister of Foreign Affairs Gerhard Schroder. These negotiations correspond to those he already has had with the American and British Governments signatories of the German contract about the stay of French troops in Germany and other NATO-problems.
