Apr. 25, 1968 - Experienced animal caretaker Hermann Nelz is pictured here giving this hippo, named Lutz, his daily tooth cleaning. Whether the hippo is roaring or not, it must be done, and Nelz does the deed as if it were just any other thing. The caretaker opines, he could do just about anything to me with this tooth..but it has to come out
