The 17 year old, 88 pound employee of Stuttgart's Wilhelma was, in a way, a guinea pig, who is testing the load capacity of a colossal lily-pad. The lily-pad, over two meters across, comes from a special crossing of a victoria-cruciana and a victoria-regia was was created by experts from the Stuttgart zoo. The particularly strong lily-pad doesn't yet have an official name. So far lily-pads had only been tested using babies and small children
