Oct. 10, 1967 - British army changes troops in Berlin: between 600 and 700 men of The Gloucestershire Regiment will come to serve in Berlin soon. The Glourious Gloucestershire will replace the 1st Battalion the royal inniskilling fusiliers'. on Tuesday (17.10.1967) a little part of 180 wives and 340 children arrived by air at Raf - Air base Gatow. Ten of the children belong to one couple only. photo shows Sergeant bill Hodges and his wife arrived with their ten children at Raf Gatow in west-Berlin
