Germany - Lithuania - Poland

Oct. 10, 1965 - A Partition, made of wire and wood.. was erected in the Bermnauer-street in Berlin in order to protect the memorial for Rolf Urban. The reason for this measures is the pull-down of the houses at the East-Berlin side, whereby the rubble partly falls on the pavements which belong to West-Berlin. Rolf Urban had been shot shot dead by East-German frontier guards when he 1961 tried to escape to West-Berlin
