Aug. 26, 1968 - In the sunny south of Germany many vacationers are still traveling in August and September. They travel over the border into Italy and are sometimes stuck with slow Italian customs officials. These signs(pictured) are used by the ADAC to help travelers get by as quickly as possible. One customs area may take two hours whereas another may be far less busy. These signs show travelers which one, and which direction, to take to get to the best one for them
