Jun. 06, 1969 - The starting signal for the Germany Flight 1969 has been given by the German Chancellor of the Exchequer, Franz Josef Strauss, who - a sports pilot himself came from Bonn to Augsburg in an aeroplane. 144 entries have been made - a prove of the big interest in this performance and skill flight. The take-off has been Augsburg-Muhlhausen (18th June), target will be Flensburg (Neorthern Germany). Photo shows tough fists are necessary to set the propeller into operation.
