Jun. 07, 1969 - The German Armed Forces celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the NATO alliance on Friday with a parade which was attended by Chancellor Kiesinger, Defense Minister Schr?der, NATO General Secretary Brosio, NATO High Commander General Lemnitzer, and the Chief of Staff of the German Armed Forces. The parade should be a cross-section of the modern land and air craft. 3, 100 soldiers with 282 vehicles and 236 Panzer vehicles took part. Pictured: Flakpanzers before the celebratory tribute.
