Sep. 09, 1971 - Incident During The Visit Of The Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt At The Olympic Grounds In Munich: During the visit of Chancellor Willy Brandt on Sept.24th in Munich the politician also went to see the Olympic grounds. There an unforeseen event happened. The 22 years old Viktor Rudiger Gislo dived to Willy Brandt making a remark about his East Politics and slapped the Chancellor in the face. The Munich Police-President DR. Manfred Schreiber was able the catch the perpetrator and no Rudiger Gislo was apprehended immediately after his attack to Willy Brandt.
