Jan. 09 Minister of Finance Alex Moller resigned Unexpectedly the West German Minister of Finance of Federal Chancellor Brandt's cabinet, Dr. Alex Moller (Socialist Party), resigned. The 68-year old politician explained his decision by not being able any more to carry on with his function because for reasons of health. The West German Economics Minister Prof. Karl Schiller is now in charge of the Ministry of Finances and leads now a new super ministry that is the Ministry of Finances and the Ministry of Economics.
