By shaking hands the leader of the Socialist Party(SPD), German federal Chancellor Willy Brandt(r) and Lord Mayor from Munich, Dr Hans Jochen Vogel showed their sympathy for each other.On a mass rallyof the SPD i nMunich with about 3000 people, the SPD tried to force the consolidation within the party which has had much trouble in the last weeks.At the time it ws tried to win the sympathy of of the people on this rally.
