Jul. 07, 1972 - The Longest slide in the World: The owner of a skilift in Goverlinghausen/Sauerland (West-Germany) had a good idea of doing some business also in summer, especially since the last winter did not bring much snow. The lift takes the people up to the top of the 750 meter long slide where one can glide to earth at 25km per hour
