Jul. 07, 1973 - Karl Wienand, Parliamentary Whip of Social Democratic Party, heard in Steiner bribery case: On July 18 and 19, 1973 Wienand was heard in Bonn while being incriminated in the bribery affair, to have given DM 50.000 to former member of Parliament Julius Steiner (Christian Democratic Union Party), in order to have him abstain in the vote of no-confidence against party leader (opposite) Rainer Barzel.
