Sep. 09, 1973 - Berlin Wall Opens for West Berlin Dust-carts On Sept. 10, 1973 the First west Berlin dust-carts were allowed to cross the city's dividing wall and transport West Berlin garbage to an East Berlin dumping lot in Grob-Ziethen. This agreement was finally made between East and West Berlin authorities after lengthily negotiations. From now on the garbage will be transported on an access road which leads through a triangular piece of GPR terriotory at the City's border of Neukoolin. Since West Berlin's dumping lots rate overflowing the garbage has to old to the GPR for DM 4 per one cubcmitere of trash.
