Dec. 12, 1972 - Sharp Shooter Training To Consumer Terrorism And Force The Munich bloodbath during the Olympic Games 1972 caused to a scheme for setting up a sharpshooter-training for special policemen. At present 30 sharpshooters from the Munich Police for force (picture) are on an intensive course which will give them proficiency with both service revolvers and rifles by the end. The practical formation comprises a training with shooting on targets, air-balloons and mobile targets such as silhouette targets. Taking aim at a person among a group is one of the training items of the prospectus as well as battering tyres. The recent tragedie in Munich have shown that more then good marksmanship is needed. A well planned and concerted action must be made at the critical moment, so that the opponents have no time to retaliate.
