Nov. 19, 1977 - Simplicissimus'-Exhibition In The Haus Der Kunst In Munich Satirical': in the Haus der Kust in Munich one can see at the present: a Simplicissimus'-exhibition! It makes think of the famous political-satirical weekly paper, which was founded in 1896 in Munich and with which worked prominent people like O. Gulbransson, B. Paul, L. Thoma and Wedekind etc. The exhibition included c. 560 separate sheets (partly, what the magazine published in the time of its life (c. 25 ooo drawings). The Simplicissimus suspended work in 1944. Photo shows A work of Bruno Paul, - Of Belgium, 1902. Signature: Heaven has happened it fortunately, dear brother in the Lord, that the workers have not so much to devoure like us, otherwise they would have endured the general strike much longer
