Jan. 01, 1981 - Klaus Bolling Will Relieve Gunter Gaus As Permanent Representation Of West Germany In East Berlin: On February 1st, 1981 the Secretary of the State Klaus. Bolling will change from Bonn to East-Berlin. The former speaker of Government and chief of the Press and information office of the West German government will enter upon the Permanent Representation of West Germany in DDR. He will relieve the secretary of State Gunter Gaus, who had this post, being not always very easy, for about six years since the existing of this arrangement. The 51-year-old Gunter Gaus, before he went to East-Berlin 1974, Secretary of State in the West German-Chancellor Office; before that he was u.a.program-director of the Sudwestfunk and Chief-editor of the Spiegel
