Sep. 09, 1980 - Terrible Bomb-Explosion at Munich Oktoberfest A terrible disaster happend at the famous Oktoberfest in Munich/West Germany in the evening of September 26th, 1980. About 22:30 O'clock at the main-exit of the Theresienwise a delayed action cap, which has been deposited in a wate-paper basker, explosed. Only some munutes after the terrible disaster all available fire-brigades, ambulances, also police and different relief organizations have been in action. the disastrous result: 12 people (amoongst them three children) were killed and about 140 persons have been injured-partly serious.
