Aug. 08, 1979 - Birthday Of Werner Forssmann 75 Years Old: would become at August 29th 1979 Prof. Dr. med. Werner Forssmann. The 1964 in Berlin born surgeon developed in 1929 with a sensation causing self-trial a method of heartprobing. With this technique, a probe must be inserted into the arm-vein and putted forward till to the heart, it is possible to find defects in the auricle and in the chamber-portitions; over this, this procedure makes possible the measuring of pressure and oxygen- concentration of the life-blood as well as the presentation of the cardiac vessels. Werner Forssmann was in the year 1956 together with A. Cournand and D. W.Richards decorated with the Nobel-Price for physics and he is the owner of a lot of honours morre, ao. the Great Federal Cross of Merit with star and shoulder strap. The wellknown physics died in June 1st 1979
