Nov. 11, 1977 - Anger as SS Chief is Freed: Former SS Colonel Hubert Mayer, banned from Britain by the Home Secretary Mr Merlyn Rees, was given nearly a days grace today. Police at Heathrow Airport released him and he was driven to a London press Conference by his book Publisher. The Home Office have made it clear that Col.
