Feb. 02, 1978 - 65th Birthday Of Gert Frobe. On February 25th, 1978 the Saxony-born actor celebrates his birthday! In Berlin in 1948 he started his film career. More than 100 films made him a star, not only in the Federal Republic of Germany, but also abroad. Some well-known titles: Ein Herz Spielt falsch (A heart plays false), Die Helden sind muede: (The heros are tired), Der tolle Bomberg, Der laengste Tag (The longest day), Goldfinger, Das Schlangenei (The egg of the snake), Der Gauner und der liebe Gott (The Swindler and the good God) and Brennt Paris? (Does Paris Burn?). Gert Frobe has won many awards, eg in 1973 the Great Federal Distinguished Service Cross. The private hobbies of the actor: painting, fishing, practising magic and making music.
