1959 - PRESIDENT'S GIFT FOR QUEEN AND PRINCE PHILIP. During the Duke of Edinburgh's recent visit to Pakistan, President Mohammed Ayub Khan presented three pedigreed horse to Her Majesty the Queen and it's Royal Highness. The horses - SULTAN, polo pinies for the Duke - arrived in London yesterday, and were to be seen today at Knightsbridge Barracks with their escort.
