Jan. 01, 1950 - Sculptor and Architect visit foundry to inspect new huge piece of sculpture: Mr. Gilbert Ledward RA the sculptor has just completed a new unusual piece of sculpture which is to form the centre piece of the forecourt of 195-197 Knightsbridge a new building now nearing completion. The work shows a kneeling man pointing the future with two young children. The sculpture has been cast in bronze at the Morris Singer Foundry, Clapham. The creator Gilbert Ledward and architect Guy Morgan visited the foundry to see the work this afternoon.
