Apr. 27, 1971 - Hal B Wallis brings Oscar to Glenda Jackson: Producer Hal B. Wallis, a member of the board of governors of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences, today presented to Glenda Jackson on behalf of the Academy the Oscar she was awarded for her performance in Women in Love. Wallis, who arrived in London over the weekend to begin production on his film Mary, Queen of Scots, in which Miss Jackson co stars with Vanessa Redgrave, brought the Oscar from Hollywood.
