Jan. 09 Americans Prepare For Japanese Battle: The Americans are to go to war with Japan again. But this time it's in the interest of entertainment. A new film is being made in Hollywood called Midway'. It tells of the 1942 naval battle that marked the turning point of World War II. Playing the part of Admiral Yamamoto is Japan's top star, Toshiro Mifune. Glenn Ford will appear as the US Admiral Spruance.
