Mar. 18, 1958 - Vacant Defences On Sumatra--A goat sits on top of a pill box used by Japanese troops in their World War II occupation of Sumatra. An open air emplacement has been fashioned with sandbags by rebel Indonesian troops. This area is considered a potential landing site for regular Indonesian troops. The two forces currently are fighting for control of central Sumatra
