Gorch Fock, German sailing training vessel, tall ship
May 14, 1964 - Sailing training vessel (tall ship) of the German Navy, the Gorch Fock. It is on its way to Lisbon, Portugal. From there it will head across the Atlantic Ocean to Hamilton Port in Bermuda as part of a regatta of 23 large sailing ships and high sea yachts from 16 nations. After Bermuda it will head up to New York City and then back across the Atlantic, passing Iceland, Ireland, and Norway on its way back to Germany
