Sep. 09, 1978 - Gracie Fields Back In England: 80 year-old Gracie Field gave a press conference at Brighton yesterday and gave members of the press a preview of her coming concert in Rochdale next week as she sang some old favourites the most famous being Sally'. The new civil theatre in Rochdale is being called The Gracie Fields Theatre and is being opened at a special gala on Sunday week.
