Greenland MPs Frederik and Augo Lynge in Copenhagen

Oct. 10, 1953 - First Greenland MPs in History: When the Danish Parliament met yesterday for the first time since the recent elections the first two Greenland members of the Danish Parliament were welcomed by King Frederik and the newly elected Premier, Hans Hedtoft. According to the new Danish constitution, Greenland is considered as a part of Denmark with equal rights, with the two cousins, Frederik Lynge and Augo Lynge as the Greenland representatives to the Danish Parliament.
