Guido Orlando challenges ex-King Farouk to a duel
Oct. 10, 1953 - Farouk Asked To Duel. Ex-King Farouk has been challenged to a pistol duel on a yacht six miles out at sea. And the challenger, American publicity man, Guido Orlando said If he refuses, I'll sue him for a million dollars'. Why?, Orlando says that since he linked Farouk's name with that of a young American girl - Mimi Medart - in a publicity stunt, Farouk had been calling him all kinds of obscene names!!
