Gurkhas arrive in UK for Coronation

1953 - The Ghurkhas arrive for the Coronation. Two men with their kitbags: A contingent of about 150 Gurkhas, including a pipe band of 60, arrived at Pirbright Camp, Surrey this afternoon, in readiness for the Coronation. They travelled by train from Southampton to Brookwood.
