Jan. 08, 1954 - Dancer Wins Gold Medal And Honour For Acting: Eighteen year old dancer Gwyn Panton from Gorton, Manchester was the winner of the Gold Medal with Honours for acting, presented by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Gwyn, who is a dancer at the Prince of Wales Theatre revue, Pardon my French - teaches Mime and Movement at the Academy - and Shakespeare - by Clement Dane.
